Procedure

For a successful IT-solution development four main elements are required:

  1. The first purpose is to meet the customers’ needs, to understand his business and existing environment(s), legacy systems and all other elements important for an ICT project.
  2. The second step is to build the most suitable solution architecture, taking into account the business model and technical environment.
  3. The development and extensive testing of all necessary technical components have to be done according to strongly defined rules and using the most proven techniques.
  4. The last step is assembling of building blocks and testing of the whole solution in all ways and circumstances.

Independent of the nature of application, size, complexity or other characteristics of any kind, an IT project cannot be successful if one of these steps is not perfectly fulfilled, with necessary attention, knowledge, power and passion.

With respect to these four basic elements, Vladecom has developed its own pragmatic project methodology covering the four software development approaches:

  1. Waterfall
  2. Prototyping
  3. Spiral
  4. Rapid Application Development (RAD)
